We are a registered charity, building a brand new, accessible and energy efficient community hall for Widecombe in the Moor.
The local community has been integral in determining the design, layout and features of the building by telling us what's important to them. Together we have secured planning permission for our new hall, taken ownership of the site and carried out significant physical construction work.
Enabling works, including access from the road, drainage, ground improvements, levelling and landscaping, have been undertaken by a band of committed volunteers and we have far exceeded our original target of raising £50,000 from within the local community.
Over the Winter of 2025/26 our contractors ‘Duraform Homes’ carried out the construction of the main watertight structure.
